I.SPY

The Pop In Centre was a founding member of the community anti bullying initiative, ISPY (Integrated Services Protecting the Young), and we operate as a Safe Haven for young people. I SPY is a partnership between schools, youth groups, police and local businesses. In Prestatyn we have over 25 Safe Havens where young people can go to if they are being bullied or feel threatened, while out in the community. This scheme acts as an extra level of safety for young people and operates throughout the year and during weekends and school holidays, dependent on individual opening hours. Each Safe Haven is clearly marked with an I SPY window sticker which reassures young people that the business owners / staff have been trained and endorsed by the I SPY committee.
